Age Appropriate for The Books at School’ and Public’s Library

Books have inherent bond with children especially students at school. Although the books in school or public library have to meet the appropriate age for the audiences, yet some people would argue it will be preventing or murdering children curiosity if somebody. Library’s personnel should be separating books which are contained sexual content, LGBT+ topics, offensive language, and other theme that might not supposed to read for children in their ages. Some people would argue the books which enclosed LGBT+ such as Sparkle Boy, I am Jazz, Neither, Gender Queer, and whatnot will provide safety for students whom feel same sex attraction or the part of LGBT+ community. In addition, LGBT+ people seem to hellbent on advocating those types of books in order to become more tolerance, prevent homophobic seeds, catalyst for promoting self-acceptance movement.
It will become a massive issue whatever linked or covered up with LGBT+ have always been supported by the community whether it’s good or bad. Youth generation will understand on how there is a community called LGBT+ whilst they are growing up in our society whether or not someone’s teaching them or they are observing the environment. We will not be pushing nor rushing the agenda if we understand on how children learn and engage with another person. They will see same sex couple are holding each other hands, pride parade, friends with two mothers or fathers. Because nowadays LGBT+ community has inherent exploration of the sexual orientation rather than love nor healthy relationship, conservative parents were protesting to banning books which relevant with LGBT+ ideology.
Parents were actually agreed people can buy it for themselves and not necessarily advocated to full ban the books, but those books should have not been put on child’s shelf publicly. The consequent from made the bill regarding banning those books was making the community perceived it as direct attack towards people whom fall under the LGBT+ umbrella. However, Parents were cancelling those books not without any reason, it happened because they are protecting the child’s innocence. Moreover, they have found the sexual interaction within the books and graphics which were showed pornography. Surprisingly, some of the “open minded” parents are having zero issues with books which are interpreting images above 18 years old since they were argued children will have found sexual content in social media whether they were preventing or not; Nevertheless, the main goals from ditching child and their phones are teaching children to engage more in literature by reading books. Children could not have the safety place if they were got attacked from phone and books. Therefore, library’s personnel should distinguish between books for children and which of those are not supposed to be displayed on bookshelf.
