Israel’s Accountability for Failing Ceasefire Deal

Ceasefire deal has been pursued since the blow of war post and way before October 7 by many people whether they are pro-Palestine or pro-Israel and especially folks whose relatives has been captives. The number of Israeli captives currently decrease as a result of frequent bombing by IDF whereby made their civilians died. Moreover, the agreement between Hamas and Israel’s negotiator has also turned down from approximately 250 to 111. In spite of Israelis demand “terrorist” to bring their relations’ come back home, the amount of real hostages or Palestinian detainees in Israel’s jail are more likely increase. 85 times more than Israeli captives or more than 9.100 Palestinians have been imprisoned. The majority of Palestinian hostages were detained without any trials nor they have been humiliated by Israel Defense Forces personnel vilely. For instance, currently Palestinian prisoners have sexually harassed by IDF soldiers in Israel’s prison. Shockingly, the perpetrators were proudly showing the world regarding their behaviors towards Arabs or Palestinians by inviting one of them to have interview on well-known broadcast in Israel. Furthermore, Israel beliefs about the person behind the October 7 was Yahya Sinwar. Nevertheless, the madness of Iran and Yahya Sinwar as a new political leader have created the idea of ceasefire cannot be achieve in current time. Beside of that, we should put the responsibility regarding the failure of ceasefire agreement to Israel’s personnel government because Israel has made their own enemies. Many people in Middle East are against Israel not merely because overnight decision, it is conflict which has been caused many of Hamas’s members and relatives died from the first establishment of the State of Israel. However, Israel’s political members have many intentional mistakes in order to prevent ceasefire agreement such as killing moderate leaders of Hamas, civilians in Gaza and West Bank, and also journalists.

Even if ceasefire has been achieved, it will not bring more than 40.000 Palestinians back to earth again and it is not enough for all the destructions Israel has been caused over decades. In fact, Gaza needs more than 80 years to reestablish their own country. We are not even talking about Palestinians’ traumas post war which can lead generational mental health disorder. Israelis should demand their own Prime Minister’s for initiating ceasefire if they want to bring the captives home because the problem itself is in Israel’s personnel government, it is not from the external sources.
